Traditionally, Cold Brew takes anywhere from 8-15 hours to make and requires not only a lot of coffee but a lot of patience. Sometimes we have neither of those but still want Cold Brew. That’s where the Aeropress comes in handy. Here is our go to Recipe for delicious Cold Brew in under 2 minutes.
- Recommended Roast: Uganda Rwenzori
- Grind Size: Fine*
- 17g Coffee
- 70g Room Temperature Water
- Stir for 60 seconds
- Press for 30-60 Seconds (Basically just press really really slow. There isn't much water so this can be difficult to get. Just do your best)
Dilute to your desired level of strength and Pour over Ice. (if you like it strong, try it straight up.. it's similar in streghth to a shot of espresso)
This is just the base recipe. I tend to double the recipe so I yeild more cold brew.
If you are feeling adventurous add a splash of sweet cream or your favorite creamer. You won’t be disappointed!

*at our office we use a Sette 270 Espresso grinder for finer style grinds. If you are using this grinder we are using a setting of 9E for Aeropress Cold Brew.
